Our Afghan boy Voodoo has never really liked his boots we put on him to keep his feet clean!! This is common in showdogs and is not cruel in any way shape or form. ENJOY!!!

Do you mean at least 2 months old? I don't know where you can find one in India but just so you know, taking a puppy away from its mama at less than 8 weeks old is not good.

I have a 2 and a half year old female afghan hound. i took her to the groomer three weeks ago and ever since the day she got back all she has been doing is jumping on me and my family on our legs and humping us. we try to be the dominate and tell her no and even yell sometimes and she backs off for probably a minute then she starts agen. she does not like 24/7 hump only certain times but i need to know why? thanks for your time.
Either spay or breed her.

I have done a lot of research and know what I'm "getting myself into".
I am looking for an Afghan bitch with:
- the healthiest line possible
- thicker coat (I hear that thin hair is harder to take care of, and thicker one looks better also)
- I am looking for a red one with a black mask
- I also hear that American Afghans tend to have much more difficult temperament, so imports are more favorable, but not a must
- I live in Los Angeles, CA, but am willing to travel within the US to meet parents and a breeder
I am not going to breed or show my dog, just have her as a pet.
Please help me find a breeder I'm looking for!!!

Just do be aware that many breeders in this breed are pretty protective of their pups/adults, and you may have to take a little time to get onto the 'inside track'
